This document defines the rules of personal data processing and use of cookies by the Personal Data Administrator, i.e: Marimax spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością sp. h. The scope and rules of data processing vary according to the purpose of data collection. Below we present particular purposes of personal data processing

 

Orders made through the Online Store

When placing an order, please provide the data necessary to complete the order. These data are: first and last name, shipping address, e-mail address, telephone number. In case of making an order as part of your business activity, we also process the following data: company name, registered office, Tax Identification Number. In each case, providing the indicated data is voluntary, but necessary to place an order.

The data provided will be processed for the primary purpose of processing the order, as well as for the purpose of issuing an invoice, for statistical and archival purposes.

We may pass on the data received to a courier company or the Polish Post Office to deliver your order. The data needed to issue an invoice may be transferred to the accounting firm making the settlements for us.

We will process the data received during the order until the statute of limitations on possible claims under the contract. We will keep the data needed to issue an invoice for a period of 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the tax liability arises. Furthermore, after the expiry of this period, data may still be processed for statistical or archival purposes.

You have the right to correct this data, however, only until the order is confirmed.

After the expiry of the limitation period for claims under the concluded contract, you can object to the processing of data for statistical purposes as well as demand the removal of data from the database.

 

 

Maintaining the Customer Account

When creating a Customer Account on our website it is necessary to provide personal data. Within the framework of a Customer Account, we may process such data as: e-mail address, first and last name, address data, telephone number. The provision of the data is voluntary, The data provided within the framework of the Customer Account will be processed for the duration of its operation. You may at any time modify or delete the saved data or delete the Customer Account itself. Please note that deleting your Account does not deprive us of the right to process data relating to orders placed. In addition to the right to delete, correct and restrict the processing of your data, you have the right to request the transfer of your data.

 

Newsletter:

When you use the Newsletter option, your e-mail address is provided to us.

However, providing your e-mail address is voluntary, but necessary in order to receive the Newsletter.

The e-mail address will be processed as long as the Newsletter service is operational. At any time you have the possibility to resign from the service, in order to do so, you should choose the option of resigning from receiving the Newsletter or contact the Administrator by e-mail or letter to the addresses given on the website of the Online Store.

 

Contact:

By contacting us using the contact form, e-mail or telephone, you provide us with your personal data. Depending on the form of contact, we may process personal data in the form of: first and last name, address, telephone number, e-mail address.

In any case, we only process the data that we have received from you.

We will process the personal data you provide in order to respond to your inquiry and possibly prepare an offer or process your complaint or request.

However, the provision of data by you is voluntary but necessary in order to respond.

The content of the correspondence (which contains your personal data) will be kept by us for a period of 3 years from the end of the year in which the contact was initiated. The period of storage of your personal data will be longer if the contact initiated results in a contract. In this case, the longer periods for processing your personal data, which are included in this section, will apply: Orders made through the Online Store

Visiting our website

If you have not contacted us, but only browse the resources of our website, we do not gain access to your personal data.

When you access and navigate our website, the device you are using sends your queries to the server on which our website is stored. Each query addressed to the server is stored in the server logs. The logs include: IP address, date and time of the server, data of the web browser on which our website was opened.

The data stored in the server logs do not allow the identification of a specific person. The server logs are only helpful in solving problems with the functioning of the website. Only those who administer the server have access to this data.

 

Personal data processing rules and your rights in relation to our processing of your personal data

Your personal data will not be transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area nor will it be subject to profiling (i.e. automated data processing).

You have the right to request access, correction, transfer, deletion or restriction of your personal data processed by us.

You may also object to the processing of your personal data or revoke your consent (by initiating contact) to the processing of personal data.

If you exercise your rights, you will receive a confirmation from our company that the actions indicated in your application have been carried out or information about the impossibility of carrying out these actions due to our legitimate interest, e.g. defense against potential claims from you.

In any case, you can lodge a complaint against our company with the President of Personal Data Protection. In many cases, before taking action with the President of the Office for the Protection of Personal Data, it is required to make a request to the entity to which the complaint is to relate. Therefore, if you have concerns about our processing of your personal data, we recommend that you contact our company in advance.

The rights of access to personal data processed by our company have been restricted in a restrictive way so that the information does not fall into the hands of unauthorized persons. Only a limited number of authorized persons have access to the personal and address data, in accordance with the provisions of the law on personal data protection of natural persons.
